I am passionate about creating a safe space while empowering clients to identify and explore their emotional experiences, so they can live more satisfying and healthier lives. I work with clients to reduce feelings of disconnection while increasing safe and secure attachment with those around them. When working with couples and families, I utilize an emotionally focused approach. I look forward to helping couples, families and individuals thrive, create change, gain resilience and flexibility.

Myriah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and state approved Clinical Supervisor.
Myriah attained her Bachelor of Human Services at Upper Iowa University and completed her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University which is COAMFTE accredited. Myriah served on the IAMFT board (Iowa Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). Myriah is a professional member of the AAMFT. Myriah has 9 + years of experience working with children and families incorporating strength based and trauma informed approaches. Evidence based models and methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
